Maan said ‘achaaa?! Toh phir dekh hi lenge’ and
he turned away on his heels.
Then just as he turned so, he heard her:
‘Suniye'
Maan slowly turned around to look at the
face of the caller and there she stood again besides her little sister... clad in her pink suit with jhumkis dangling as she stood anxiously fidgeting
with the ends of her braid's long tassle (Paraanda). The sight of her now up close felt even more magnetizing than the first time when his eyes fell on her standing in the window from the Veranda.
